Radio Frequency Identification is named as RFID, It is a technical term that
utilizes radio for the identification of products, object and people. Many ways
exist for identification but the widely used method is to store a serial number
on the chip. The chip is fixed on any card or product, It includes the antenna.
Both chip and antenna make up RFID tag.
The antenna helps to
transmit the hidden information to the reader. Many types of RFID Readers
exist: some readers are long-range and some are short range. The long range rfid readers help you to access the chip information from a
wider distance, while the short-range RFID reader used for the smaller business
or shorter areas.
The antenna sends
information to the reader and reader forward the information in the digital
format to the computer for use or storage.
Purpose
The main purpose of
the RFID System is the transmission of the data and this is familiar with the
name tags. The second main purpose is the extraction of the data by technical
means at a desired location and time.
A question arises:
